i would of posted sooner but i was waiting for a loan to be aproved. I'm sorry this is a truck but i do hope you guys can help me out. I already checked with KBB.com to give me an idea of stock value but i'm hoping you guys can help me out on more info.

I really don't know anything at all about lightnings. I don't even know if this is a real one cause we only can see it tomorrow. put it this way... I'm not even sure if they have the key for it. of if they'll even have it started for us to check out before bidding starts.

By the looks of the picture what can you tell me about it?

How much is it worth about? give or take.

What kind of rims? opinons?

what kind of mods?

is this custom paint?

does the roll pan still have a bumper under it?

things i should check out or watch out for?

Thanks guys!!

Not really sure that you provided enough information about the Lightning in question for anyone to really make a good assessment of "what it's worth." Need things like model year, mileage, mod list, etc. Verify the truck's VIN number through SVT if you can (1-800-ford-svt) to ensure that it is an authentic Lightning.

Know what I mean?

Research, research, research...do your homework first before you buy.

If another fellow Lightning owner doesn't chime in about this in your thread, be sure to visit the National Lighting Owner's Club - their forum is: The National Lightning Owners Club Inc - Powered by vBulletin and those guys will definitely help you out.

Off the top of my head, that doesn't look like factory paint color for Lightning - unless the camera brightness/flash settings messed with the picture? I know Lightnings were produced in "Sonic Blue" or something close to that for one (or more?) model years, but that shade of blue looks a little off in the picture to me - but I'm no "L" expert, so make sure you research the paint job as well...

G'luck.

i'm sorry i totally spaced out on it

the only info provided is this

2003 Ford SVT Lightning Pickup, Supercharged 5.4L V8, auto, 5,486 miles, customized

i'll take the number with me hopefully it is still open cause it is saturday.

the auction starts in 2 hours.

I only have so much cash on me for this so wish me luck.

lucky for me they'll have the cars running in the parking lot.

i think the car sold for about $18,000 way past my limit. was a real nice car but nothing was done to the interior so i wasn't too impressed. the engine sounded great!! exhaust looked stock tho. It looked imaculant thats for sure. It was a real SVT Lighting i checked with KBB vin.

in my opinion it wasn't worth top dollar cause i wasn't going to keep it.
