I agree that the evo is faster than the mustang, and maybe a grand or so more expensive, but it's a much uglier car, and I'd rather have the mustang anyday over the evo. Besides you get noticed in the mustang, while nobody gives a crap about the evo. The only thing you notice on it is the stupid wing, and on the RS that doesn't have the wing you don't notice nothing period, same as you're driving soccer mom's mazda protege or something.

I get noticed more in my evo then in any other car I've owned. So I think your statement is incorrect.

i have an 06 and a friend has an evo ix and i think the new gt's look more classy and i love the sound of american.but i hate impressing ppl and both cars dont look like a daily driver so id have to go wit my $500 blazer lol

It looks OK, but from what I hear, the X is going to be $35k+ - basically $7-8k more than a Mustang. Still worth it if you can spend the coin though.

The base GTO is pretty much loaded. People are getting them for $27-$28k now - not a bad deal.

Yeah- I don't care what msrp or sticker is. The car can be had for well under 30k. Too bad many are just rotting on lots. I considered one for a bit but thought otherwise.
