what the hell is a mustang GTS? is this a factory ford vehicle?

It's a stripped down GT with the 5.0 still in it. Kinda a replacement for the old LX option.

I guess my 11.6 1995 GT doesn't count cause it's got power windows, huh?

he needs a bigger cam. AND tune

every time I race

i have taken alot of the free steps to weight reduction. and its pretty light.

I am going to get tubular K aluminum heads and one pieve cobra racing seats eventually. it would be crazy to dip the car under 1900

um... at the time of race in sig, it was 3265 with me in it. I had a bunch of crap in it.

lightest its weighed in at 3215

I took another 5-10 pounds off the front today

Does it REALLY matter???

Why should they be any different in speed than the GT?

NO Spoiler?
Cloth seats?
No Fog lights?
Crank Windows? (oh yeah, the PW's take away 2/3 HP )

The srt-4's dont have PW, that explains a lot!

In case you didnt see it this thread below shows some info I dont think that GTS vs GT will make that large of a difference. Especially when most guys that run real fast GT's probably do some weight savings that would equal a GTS

No weight reductions for my GTS other than the lighter aluminum heads and it's weighing in at 3250 lbs with full tank of gas.

My friends 94 GT weighs 3250 with no weight reductions.. i thought the GTS was lighter?
