The GTS didn't come with fog lights, which I put factory original on mine, it didn't come with leather seats, and most of the power options. I have AC and power mirrors in mine but that's it. Most of them didn't come with a rear spoiler as well. They also came with 16 inch 5 star pony rims.

So if you take all the power options out, no stereo, no spoiler, no AC, and smaller rims, I suppose that all adds up to something.

If your friends GT is 3250 I would say he's reduced it's weight substantially, either that or check the last time the scale he weighed in on was calibrated.

I suppose it would make a big difference if you had a heavy car and a fat a$$ !

3250 seems believable to me, depending on options. Ford states curb weight for the GT at 3285. Mine weighs 3275 with every option available and a half tank of gas. I'm sure I saved a few pounds with the aluminum heads, but I've added some other non-stock stuff that raises the weight, so who knows.

I hate you guys..... Even if driven by remote control my car is still a lot more heavier than you guys. It has been put on a diet though, at one point in time it tipped the scales at 3803lbs with me in it.

I completely beleive that! My coupe tipped the scales at 3630 with me in it before I started removing things so a convertible could easily be heavier than that!

The car is down to 3300 with me and 1/4 tank now.
