Had a good time at Ford Fever this weekend. Sunday wasn't all that great since it was wet and we only ran 1/8th mile for elims.

The car is hooking great and is now a solid 11 second car. I had only gone 11s once which was early in the year, but since have made a few changes and wanted to wait until I had the timslips to prove that it's a consistent 11 second ride. Well, I had no problem doing that this weekend.

11.68@115.66 was my first and best pass of the whole weekend. It also went 11.70 and 11.71 on Saturday. 60's ranged from 1.54 to 1.56 on a 6900rpm launch.

Love those 60 foot times. Good job thats times to be proud of N/A, many supercharged guys arent running that fast. I think more guys, myself included, need to spend more time on setting a car up right instead of throwing money at it to make it faster.

Thanks guys. I don't really have any major goals for the car now. The goal for this year was to have a consistent 11 second N/A driver. I drove it three hours there and three hours back. Race weight was 3060 with me in it.

I don't have any real good pics of it in action. I'll have to ask around to see if anyone got any video.

I'll probably keep the stock intake on it to see how fast it'll go. I don't really have any big ET goals or anything now, just to see how fast it can go on a relatively decent budget.

26x10 ET Drag. 4.56 gears on a 31 spline trac-loc and Moser axles. Suspension is Megabite Jrs, UPR uppers, spherical bushings, QA1s in back, UPR tubular front end with 14" 175# springs in front, stock struts.

Steen Racing built motor and heads, Comp Cams 270s, MAC LTs, Accufab plenum/tb, pullies, Ed Clark SCT tune.

I'm running a syncro G-Force T5.

Is the front end pretty quiet on the street with the stock struts?

I'm with you on the gears as my car traps at 106 at 5400 rpm and the car pulls strong to 6500. What RPM are you pulling through the traps?

T&J has my rev limiter set at 6500 rpm but I'm sure mine will pull past that as the car is on the limiter in a heartbeat in 1st and 2nd gear.

Maybee I'll have my rev limiter raised and have a better excuse for my lovely wife for a new shortblock when this thing grenades
