Trying to test the system per manufactures recomendations. Cannot get the selenoids to click and come on. I've retraced all my steps to no avail. I'm really pissed off because I can't figure it out. Any suggestions please. My system is the Ford EFI NX kit with GENX-2 upgrade.

Sorry noone has replied yet, I just saw the thread. Well, first try to borrow someones multitap and check the lines to the solinoids and to the relay and make sure that the positive lines have power in them. That will prob. show your problem there. If it's both solinoids acting up then I might blame either the relay or one of the switches. Just try to locate a multitap and make sure that power is actually going to them, and if it's not find which switch is acting up. If that doesn't do it then I guess call NX. Also check the window switch and fuel pressure too, I don't have those. All the help I can offer, hope you get it working.

And I just got my kit 2 weeks ago, you'll love it.

solinoid just has power and grd. I don't know how you system is wired but there should be some safty switches in there somewhere. If you want to test a solid just run 12v to it. you will hear it click. most likely you are missing something.

usually you would have a switch off of a relay to arm it. then you should have a micro switch up on the throttle. you should also have a fuel presure safty switch. I like to use rpm window switch as well. I don't have a setup on my mustang but most kits ave the same kind of wiring/safty precautions.

if you are trying to get you solinoid to activate with no fuel pressure or the throttle pinned it is not going to with you system wired correctly.

get out your test light and check for power up the system.
