After 5 years of crying, begging, praying, hoping, wishing, wondering, and lusting after a supercharger, my time has finally come!!! For some reason, the wife granted me permission to order my Kenne Bell and get it installed! I think she hit her head last night cleaning or something so before her memory came back, I quickly ordered the kit and told her no refunds . No longer will I be the topic of ridicule and disgust by the hundreds of Neons, Civics, Pintos, Mo-peds and everything else that can beat a bone stock GT. No longer will I have to be satisfied with starring at the a$$ end of Mach 1's, Camaros, and the occasional Chevy Aveo as they freely pass me by . Special operations MACH 1 Killa is in effect.

What PSI are you going with?
Did you get a boost a pump and big tube?

You're right. I settle for Mach 1's for the time being since 3 of my good friends have them. You can imagine what going to the track for the last 2 years has been like. "Look there's Sam and his SLOW GT". Anytime they wanted to feel better about themselves they would race me. But I AM NOT telling them anything. I dont know if I can keep this a secret too long but I do want to mess with their heads . BTW 02Laser, i've been following the progress on your car and wanted to let you know you are my hero and your Mustang is hands down the BADDEST STANG out there period

If I could only afford two gauges to go with my new setup, what would they be? I'm sure 1 would be boost. Any other suggestions? I'm going to be buying them from speedhut.com since I already have their speedo and HVAC overlays and want to keep the blue color theme going.

Wideband, oil pressure, water temp, boost are all a great idea. Wideband is probably the most important.

Air/Fuel def. Even if you just use the stock O2 put a switch in so you can look at each bank, just to make sure you dont run too lean. And congrats, I want one, do they make em for Aero Cobras?

thanks. I know how you feel. Most of my friends drive 03 Cobras and LS1/LS2's so they had the advantage from the start. Take note, I used past tense there.

What does wideband refer to? Here are the two gauges I was looking at, will they work ok? Boost/Vac Gauge: http://www.speedhut.com/el_detail_gauge.asp?auto_number=466&bhcp=1 Fuel pressure Gauge: http://www.speedhut.com/el_detail_gauge.asp?auto_number=477&bhcp=1

you should have a fuel pressue and boost guage at minimum,A wide band would be nice. but none of these guages are going to stop you from hurting your engine at wot if your fuel pump, bap or whatever decides to go south. most likely when your wot your attention is on the road in front of you(KB's kick ass) and even if you were watching your reaction probably would not be fast enough. they would stop you from going into boost if you notice an abnormal reading and they great for max tuning in the real world

dude seriously, how much did you spend on your car to bring it up to the point of a KB Terminator? i mean, you look like a cobra, you have a built motor now and a KB up top. IMO you shouldve just gotten a cobra from the start and been done with it.

i will give you props though, i could not bring myself to spend money on going through the 2V motor to bring it up to the point i could run decent amount of boost, and then actually spend the kind of money it takes to get me there. not to mention deal with whatever broke afterwards that wasnt engineered to handle the power.
