Well I finally got to run the GT this weekend, I was pretty disappointed at first, but got happier as the weekend progressed, plus I installed the driver mod on sunday for two runs

Here's the video of the 12.4 run

http://videos.streetfire.net/recentvideos/1/a783109a-cf16-40d6-88a9-9935004b9066.htm

Friday--me driving on street tires, first time running with new set up
1st Run--I couldn't keep the tires from spinning in 1st and 2nd
2.453--60
15.497--1/4 et
99.78--1/4 mph

2nd Run--took it real easy because of the tires spin on first run
2.445--60
14.985@99.78

Saturday--me on skinnies and slicks
2.116--60
13.543@103.93

Missed 3rd because my radio came out of the dash
2.158--60
14.119@100.67

1.956--60
13.083@108.43

1.845--60
12.978@107.14

Sunday--with driver mod and better weather
1.802--60
12.456@111.39 (dude said he missed 3rd too)

2.028--60
13.104@108.17 (missed 3rd again and overall bad run)

I was launching too hard Saturday (5000-6000) rpm and still got wheel spin on slicks, the guy on Sunday was launching at 3000-3500

I know this car is capable of 11's in the States, the track here in Germany is not prepped and is 14 feet uphill from start to finish, the car has not been tuned....plus we were trying not to break it, I raced Fri-Sun and ship the car today (Wednesday)

And you don't need those 42#ers. hell you could even get away with 24#ers, you can't be putting down more than 330-350, how much boost?

Groverdill is running 42#ers on a stroked HCI dart block and turbo/es

It's an old unprepped airfield, plus it the only thing we got

I'll be heading to Idaho on 8 June, and hope to run the GT and Mach at the strip in Boise to see what they will do on a prepped level track

Really I'll be taking both cars to get a speed shop in the States to get dialed in correctly and if the say the injectors are too big or if I have something else set-up wrong I'll change it
