Wow the flashbacks. My first mustang was an 89 just like that minus the stripes. It even had the white mustang logos.

Ditch the windshield banner and the huge Ford sticker in the back, and you're good.

+1. Car looks great, but the window stickers are gaudy. We know its a Ford.

Seriously diggin' the outlined stripes, though.

No big stickers, PERIOD.

Some running pony stickers on the quarter windows (especially the "etched glass" kind) are cool, but a giant pony on the back window will have people screaming out their windows at you, "IS THAT A MUSTANG???"

I beg to differ on the Mustang decal. Here, and only here is where the running horse hatch decal is constantly criticised. I've been running mine for about 8 years now and have always received compliments on it. I personally like the Ford emblem on it, but if you do want to change, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the running horse.

Not true. Long before I ever joined Stangnet, my buddies and I always made fun of the dudes that felt it necessary to advertise whatever brand or model of car they had with giant stickers on the window(s) and/or body. Pleeeeease, don't be the 'Stang equivalent of the guy with huge "NEON" stickers slathered all over his Dodge economy car...

We know it's a Mustang. We know it's a Ford. Anyone who can't figure it out on their own without the aid of a gigantic logo to help them out probably doesn't know enough about cars, in general, to even give a crap, anyhow. It's vain, tacky, and just plain obnoxious to deal with when trying to see out the rear window. Just my take, though.

Otherwise, again, the car looks good.

I guess it's just a different crowd where I'm from. Years ago, all my friends with Mustangs had either the running horse or the Ford emblem and a front window decal . I guess times have changed. I think window stickers add character, so I'd leave that car alone. It looks good as it is.

The car looks good, I'm not a fan of huge manufacturer/car decals on windows though.

This reminds me of when I first got my 'stang and this kid who used to work with me asked, if I was going to put a big Ford logo or a Mustang pony on the back ?" Me: uhhh... NO.
(he had an '80s V6 Camaro, then he traded it for a rusted V6 Silverado farm truck that he though was fast.)

Now I might like to get some custom decals made of this emblem I created for my title charaters from my script/comic, or whatever I'm going to do with it. I would keep it tasteful, put some small ones on the 1/4 windows and maybe some small ones on each corner of the windsheild tint.

Heh ... sadly, compared to a 2.8 or 3.1 V-6, that 4.3-powered truck probably WAS faster than the V6 Camaro.

Got pics or scans of said comic characters?

I think he got rid of the Camaro because the factory OP gauge was reading low, I guess he never bothered to check the sending unit. It was either that or when I broke the news and told him what "Camaro" ment.

I'll PM you with some stuff later.

Stickers scream punk kid....so if that's the image you're going for, feel free to leave them on.

Otherwise, nice car.

take the front sticker off and get a new one that says "WINDSHIELD" so everybody knows that you have glass between yourself and the wind and that you mean business.
