Hi, I bought the lower firewall patchs, for 1970 Mustang. On the panel it for a 1965 to 1970 Mustang. The problem is that it does not fit right, it looks like it has to be cut to fit proper. Can someone help me on this.

P.S both sides

Thanks Capetex

The issue is that it is for a 65 to 70 Mustang. The firewalls are not the same but all of the repo parts are designed to fit a range of cars. This will be the same for any metal work you do on your car. I did the toe boards 3 times trying to get them to fit right.

Take your time, cut and fit, cut and fit and than weld it in. Good luck

Ditto what Jackson said.
I was going to do my toeboards but the repops fit was so bad and required so much "manipulation" I bought the whole firewall and cut out what I needed.
