Sutton High Performance from the Chicagoland went 9.82@136.4 mph tonite at Rt. 66. Car still running the 3V engine combo. Its an all built motor to hold the power, ported and polished heads, cams, Vortech blower, and Snow Methanol injection kit, etc. Car is abosolutely sick! Congrats to the Sutton HP team! I have some video of the two runs they made I'll try to post tomorrow.

That is awsome!!!!
I live 10 minutes from this dragstrip and haven't been there yet, but I am going to make a point of getting my car up there. I can't believe what I am missing.

Awsome this beats the 05 with the four valve Cobra motor in MM mag. The video on the same page with the guy hitting the deer is worth a look too.

Don't know all the detail, you'll have to talk to Randy or Jerry at Sutton for that. I know its a JT trim blower, P&P heads, cams, built bottom end, JBA long tube headers and h-pipe, upgraded fuel system, SCT software to tune, etc. The car with tires and mufflers would be very streetable too. Its an extremely impressive set up!

he said 3v because a magazine had the first 05 in the 9s, but did it with pushrod power. a motor swap 9 sec is not as good as a original engine 9 sec. in my book
