Not to be a a$$ but I think you have the slowest mach ever.....

You can't just dump the clutch and floor it in the first two gears, you have to ease out just above idle untill you feel it hook.

Shift around 6300-6400 and if you have stock gearing stay in 3rd at the end of the track.

Raise the front tires to 44psi and drop the rear to 24psi..

Keep at it you'll get better, with a stock tire and car you should be around 13.5-13.7

I am officially the slowest car ever!

I only dumped the clutch the first time, and that was because I was a little nervouse my first run. After that, I started off too slow, but atleast I had traction.

Now all I have to do is find the limit where I can launch quickly without tire spin.

Also, I thought you wanted to tire pressure a little higher on the stock tires? Is 24psi safe for stock rubber?

Id mount some Nitto DRs on your stock rims. One of the best mods I made as far as ET -vs- price.
