Is there an easy way to get the fog/driving lights to come on with only the parking lights on? they only work when the head lights are on, and i would like to have them on w/o the head lights?
simple, I did it to mine. pop out tyhe head lkight switch cut the power wire to the foglights (blb/bk sm connector on my 89) and splice it into the power leg for the running lights at the head ight switch (two brown wires large connector on mine 89). keep in mind the power for the fog lights will now be pulled through the running light feed increasing the amp draw on that wire possibly to the point of melt down especially if you've put in higher wattage fog bulbs. I had already put a relay into the fog lights so the extra power i'm pulling is miniumal as it's only to energize the relay. I would strongly suggest you do the same if you're going to follow this proceedure
