You know how the new mustangs can have their foglight on without having there headlights on, is there any way you can do that in a fox?

lol, i think he wanted how to do it - not just a simple yes or no, heh.

Anyways, its electrical work. I'm no electrician nor have i tried it on my car - but all it would involve is locating the wires for headlights/foglites and a little re-wiring.

i know - i was being cute.

all one needs to do is to disconnect the current 'source' wire at the fog light switch (the wire that does not go to the bulbs) and run a new source wire from a key-on 12 volt source or from the parking light wire (if desiring to only have the fogs be able to be on with parking lights).

i would add a SPDT relay at the same time to help out the wiring (though you will not be running power through the headlight circuit anymore, even without the relay (note:be sure to choose a circuit that can handle the extra power draw of the fogs if not using a relay. the stock fuse on fogs is 15 amps). i would do the relay upgrade at the same time, myself.

good luck.

while not legal in some states, a lot of folks like to run with parking lights (only) and fog lights.

if you were to check each end of the fog-light feed wire, i bet you would find it has been modified.
