grab a test light and probe fuses in the fusebox. find one that is key-on hot only, and splice into it, on the dead side of the fuse.

Whats Oil Pressure supposed to be with a supercharged engine? Im not sure if that makes a difference but just wondering. Whats a good PSI at Idle? Thanks
1991, as long as the integrity of the ignition wire was not compromised (you did a nice proper soldered splice, etc), it should be fine. i think many folks go the route you do (one of the yellow wires under the column is the normal point of tapping).
