Considering that Kelly Blue Book says your car is worth half of what you are asking for it, I highly doubt that you will sell it any time soon...

I could be willing to pay you the private party value ($1,500) as I could use a new winter beater. My current hooptie has about had it-turbos going out on my 89 Mazda 626 turbo sedan.

My Father in law is selling his 1989 LX 5.0 with 120,000 miles with new flowmasters, alt, brakes, tires, and some other stuff for $2500. It has been for sale for over a year+ now and is in pretty damned good shape. It would seem to me that the market would have been right for his car somewhere in the last year+.
