I always liked those dogs but they have bad hip problems later in life....i couldn't deal with that.

I had to put my baby down earlier this year because of the "wobbles", which is a spinal condition probably similar to what you're talking about. My family has had lots of Dobermans in the past and this was the first time we'd experienced it. And it had to be my baby :*(
