I don't have them, but, by design, the ride will likely be harsher since these are not progressive like the B springs.

I've got em'. They ride pretty good, C's aren't that big of a change in spring rate from stock.

I would recommend at least cutting 1/2 coil off the rear springs and adding
after market shocks and struts. You can live with just the springs, but I noticed a little extra "bounce" at the rear end with just the C's. After running my C's for about 4 months I added Bilsteins all around, and it took care of smoothing out the ride in the rear. It WILL be a firmer ride that stock, but not as bad as one might think.

Just my .02

That's odd, you're the first person I've heard of that is unhappy with the ride. I have them and the ride is just fine to me. Any performance spring is gonna be, at a minimum, slightly more harsh than the stock springs because of the increased spring rate. Increase the spring rate = firmer ride, but better handling. It's a trade off. With the C springs and 275/35/18's, my car rides very well. Not much different than stock (minimal difference in stiffness), but it handles considerably better. I would suggest you try and take a ride with someone that has them and then find someone with another brand and see which you like best. Asking others about springs is like asking different people which they like better, steak or chicken. Opinions are like @$$holes, everybodies got one.

You don't have to go flaming their Mr. Defensive. The only comment in my post toward you was that you were the first I had heard of that didn't like the ride. It was just a comment, nothing intended about it whatsoever. The rest of the my post was for the thread starter because he asked about the ride quality. I have absolutely no idea what he knows about cars so I gave him a little background info.

If all you are interested in is coming in here and starting flame wars, then why don't you try somewhere else. Comments like the one you left are the reason why people have left this board for other places such as Modular Depot.

I've got some c springs chillin in the garage. I really want to slap them on but I don't have the time lately and I know it's going to be an all day thing for me. Everybody says it takes just a few hours, but I know better. If anybody has any good tricks for putting them in, that would be awesome.

I don't kow how to post pics, but I have C springs and have no complaints about the ride at all. I didn't want to lower the car too much, but it handles corners awesomely.

How do you post pics?

I have had mine now for over a year. Can't say anything bad about them. Nice firm ride, the way it should have been.

I have them on my 2000. The ride difference is not noticable to me. The stance is a lot better. The 4x4 look is gone, but I would like it lower. With the other suspension parts being stock, traction is worse at launce. I hope new struts and shocks are going to help.

Yeh the first thing I noticed with the springs was that the car is harder to launch. That's typical though with lowered springs so I expected it.

I've got a set sitting in the garage with some Mach1 struts/shocks. I think the people who experience a harsh ride with the C springs usually didn't upgrade their struts/shocks.

This 98 GT is has them. It's from the web. I don't remember the web address. I found it by searching "1998 Mustang GT Specs". Guy is in Texas someplace.

I've got the C springs as well ride was noticably different but not right away took a while for the springs to set in..Front ride fine but I can bottom out pretty easily in the rears. I'm still running stock shocks for the moment since I had 40k miles on the original's. I'll be switching them out for some tokiyo's down the road. I'll try and post up a pic later tonight.
