My Strut Tower brace is sitting in the corner of the garage. Its not big deal not running one. A lot of people dont and it does not effect anything

From what I've heard and seen on this thread I'd say go for it. One thing I enjoy about buying a Mustang like this is having fun cleaning it up! Just do a carfax as suggested earlier and if all checks out go for it!

when i bought my 95 gt i paid 3800 but it was really clean and had all new a/c parts line comp acc all that and i did get a good deal.(i think) but i wish now that i would have looked alittle more before i bought it.
that car looks good but a see all the overspary and the butt ulgy brackets and the bone yard psp. all that would make me offer less due to the fact that if this guy is taking short cuts like this what else has he takin shortcuts on! buyer be wher. not all men are honest and he he might be passin you a nightmare. good luck.

Why would a car that is only 16 years old have ANY rust? /California spoiled brat

I am glad you decided against it. I wouldn't touch that one when you can find cleaner stock cars out there for less. Maybe it is different where you are, but 3K can find a nice, clean stock one with ~140K miles that is perfectly useable.

I paid $1,700 for mine with some issues, but even with paint, fixing the mechanical issues and whatnot I still have less than $2,600 in it. (I paint for free though so YMMV)
