Hey, what's up fellow Mustang fans?
I'm in Birmingham AL, and enjoy our 1990 Oxford white GT convertible.
I just put in the front window rebuild kits from LateModelRestoration.com It was a little challenging for me, but I eventually got it done.
Now, the rear 1/4 window rebuild kit - I've got one side installed, but the window doesn't roll all the way up to the weather stripping in the roof - lacks about 1" plus the window is too far forward. I've been tinkering with it most of the day yesterday & tearing up the internet in search of the magic screw to turn to raise the window up a little. I even took off the new rear motor, raised the window up a few teeth and re-install the motor - nope - didn't work to make the window go all the way up. Wondering now if I need to take the whole thing apart and try to shim something up a little.
f I find anything online, I'll post it as I'm sure it's not specific to me - then again, maybe it is, I don't know!
