Well was throwing on the Vortech S-Trim HO kit on my '92 stang, and things seems to been going well , had to shim the .920 shim sleeve a lil more on the smog plate to get 4.050in distance for the belt alignment.
Next problem i hit and Vortech was no help , was when i went to swing the alternator upward and bolt it to the brace, the 130amp police pkg. alt would hit the smog by-pass plate and the curved brace would still be out of reach. Vortech says i'd have to mod. the brace (no details) or throw on a stock 90amp alt.(that's no-go there)
Anyone else run into this problem using a P.I. 130amp or PA's 200amp alt. I'll try tomorrow am hoping i can get a longer bolt w/ a sleeve shim to drop the brace further down and it'll hook nicely up to the Alt.
