What is the best adhesive to adhere the body trim moldings on the Fox Tang?

I had a shop respray and stick them, on one side it did not stick properly...

Time for fishing line and new tape?!

Advice?

3m body adhesive tape. Make sure to clamp or secure the molding in a way that it will be pressed flat for a while.

Did the tape not stick to the moulding, or the car?

Tmoss is pretty much correct there. If the tape is lifting off of the moulding, 3M has an adhesion promoter wipe that will clean and prep it so the tape sticks like it should.

If the mouldings were bent out of wack before, they like to return to that wacked stage. Make sure you have them flat before putting tape back on them, and really clean for the adhesive on the tape.

Use heat to flatten them, but be careful using something like a heat gun. They'll burn the paint if you're not careful.

I've always just peeled the aluminum backing off and attached the 3M tape directly to the moulding. Never had an issue.

Exactly! That's what we do to every piece of rubber belt moulding that we remove to paint a Fox at the shop. Do this and the mouldings will never curl up on the ends again.
