Do any body now any free mods for 2000 mustangs. I now the mod that you remove the rubber bushing in the shifter. thats a nice mod.so any free mods that i can do.

Rip off the air silencer that sticks out of the airbox to the fender. No real power improvement (some would argue your engine revs more freely but not much) but it makes the car sound a lot better.
there arent much free mods you can do to a 4.6L.....these cars are pretty expencive to mess with.

BTW...whats the rubber bushing in the shifter about? i never heard of that.

I have cold air intake all ready but if you have a stock shifter pull the thing from around the shifter and you will see were the shifter comes to gether and there will be a rubber piece.it dampens your shifts so. I just toor that crap off and put some big bolts in there place. go to this linkhere
and were the metal pieces are is where the rubber was. and that rubber sucks because you will miss alot of 2-3 shifts.after that i have not missed a shift yet.

Why are you sorry? We're all in the same boat here.I miss the free mods on the 5.0s, but I would never give up the 4.6.Well, maybe for a 5.4
