Free Mods?

i know ls1s have some free mods, but are there any for a 2004 gt? my friend has one and i told him id help him out since i like muscle cars equally we must form an alliance against rice!

Didn't you just make this same thread last week? WTF? Anyway, remove the intake air silencer. It is more about sound than performance, blah, blah, blah...

There are none really. The gaines you get from even cheap mods wont do much to actually like make a win or losse situation. there is not much you can do. tell your friend to buy an O/R X pipe...thats the best bang for the buck as far as boltons go IMO...and believe me, I know as i have done EVERYTHING including Cams except for LT headers. Its about $200. Buy a UPR or a Dr Gas ideally if someone can weld.

i would say stay away from UPR. i cannot get the damn thing to quit leaking and i have reinstalled it 6 times... im gonna get a dr.gas or a prochamber, i cant make up my mind....

really? I have a Dr Gas O/R X...but I know a dude with the UPR and he liked it....this is the first I have heard of it leaking. Well I know SLPs are great but pricy...I was trying to stay cheap. Do you know of a good X thats cheap?

leaks usually come from the installer, not the pipe brand.

That will not only yeild a few more horses, it will save weight, My MAC weighed considerably less that the stocker. If you are not worried, you could take out your spare and your jack to save a little bit more weight.
