Can I install frpp stingers on a 97 gt? I've been searching the net and the only thing i've found them on are the S197s.

Kinda what I thought because I didn't see any on the 96-98. Oh well looking for a deeper and more aggressive tone than what I have. Currently have flowmasters original 40 series.

westgastang4.6:

Borla XR1 (3.5" or 4" dia. round), SLP LoudMouth 1's or 2's, MagnaFlow MagnaPacks (4" round) are pretty aggressive especially with an o/r pipe. I had 'Packs but swapped them out for the regular MagnaFlow (oval) mufflers -- my old ears couldn't take it, lol. If you have the stock intermediate pipe with all the cats and resonators, the 'Packs sound mighty fine, imo.

I'm guessing the stingers are actually made by Borla for FRPP??

Yes, Sir, Borla makes them for FRPP.

Then just get the Borla Stingers...
Had the Stinger catback on my 2002 GT - with an OR X. My God it was loud. It's a lil different than most others, in a good and unique kind of way. Seems everyone has Flowmasters or Magnaflows...
