FRRP HD "King Cobra" Clutch

I am considering buying this clutch for my 99 Mustang GT. Brothers Performance says that it will fit the car but, Summit Racing says different. Does anyone know if this clutch will fit a 1999 GT?

FRPP does make a King Cobra clutch for the T-45 transmission, which your 99 GT has. However they do not have one for the T-3650 transmission found on mid 01 and up GTs

exactly what he said, it will work. I wanted that clutch for my car before I find out what year I had...- mid 01

Thanks alot I ran it yesterday against a SC honda civic give him two and the break and beat him by four cars (a waste of my time). Now the clutch is grining out in idle!

the clutch is grinding or your tranny is?

I just put the one from mustang tuning in at 72k miles now at 78k and it started to slip on the dyno with the n2o

well anytime I take it out of gear it starts grinding it is loud on the outside I am hoping it is the clutch!

Would that be because this one is not dual friction clutch? I thought you had to have one if you were close to 375hp?

Well I am hoping that is it the car has a 146,000 on it so if anything it is time replace it. This the one I run the hardest anyway! I bought a 2000 w 36,000 three months ago.

its the only one mustang tuning sells for my year, I thought it would hold a little better.
