I was driving on the interstate the other day, and i got off on a ramp and hit the gas and the car sputtered and no rpms felt like it was out of gas so i pull over and sure enough im leaking gas from under the tank. I slide under for a look andthe line going into the fuel filter had poped off. I put it back on and continued driving, sure enough it happened again. I put it on one more time and it has not happened again yet. Anyone knoe what caused this???

I just did my Fuel filter about three days ago. There were two plastic clips that came with the new filter. They went inside the fuel lines right at the end of lines right where they connect to the filter. Mabey your clips are missing/broken?

There should be a clip on it or something to hold it onto the nipple.

See that White clip...Remove that....pull the line off...The clip has little barbs that grip and it locates around the diameter of the filter...A new filter will have 2 new clips with it....Make sure you check the box for em...Got boned like that before... You can re-use the old ones though...unless you bungered them up coming out....
