take a screw that is just large enough to get a bite on the small filter at the top of the injector, screw it in and pull it out. its really simple

The screw trick works like a champ. I have rebuilt several sets of injectors and used it on each one.

That's how I do it as well.I rebuild them all the time and re-sell them to fund the car's build.Nothing to it.

I get mine from a guy on Ebay named "Mr. Injector".I send him some old 19# injectors on occassion, and he sends me rebuild kits that i ask for.we trade out.The kit comes with screens,o-rings,spacers,and pintle caps.

I get all my injection stuff from RJM... It's like 20 bux for a complete rebuild kit, and it's top notch. Also comes with a few spare parts incase you mess up/drop any of the tiny parts. I have used RJM stuff for all of our 5.0s (4 of them) and love it.

Thanks for this imput also. I am planning a Mass Air conversion on my 86GT project car. I went to the oldinjection cite, prompted in the previous post, but didn't notice all the other wealth of information that is cateloged there. I just bookmark the cite as: "Mustang Engine Electrical Bible."

Thanks,

Dwayne
