Alright i went to start the car for the first time in about 2 months and it took it a while to start. I put a fuel pressure gauge that goes to the cowl panel to monitor fuel pressure from the shrader valve. I also put on a kirban adjustable fuel pressure regulator. well when I start the car and get it going, it only goes up to about 16psi. when I rev it, it gets a little more, but no matter how much i positively adjust the fpr, that is as high as the psi will go. Also when I shut the car off, the pressure leaks down fairly quickly. I am guessing a leaking injector or check valve on the fuel pump but am unfamiliar with this problem. Oh yeah, also when i shut it off, it sounds almost like a tire losing air, can't really diagnose where it's coming from but want to say the back of my car.

Thanks in advance guys

Did a cel test and did the injector test after and came up fine

Are you sure the fuel pressure regulator is adjusted properly? If it is, then the fuel pump is suspect.

yeah, i've gone through adding and taking out pressure all the way both ways to no avail. i know the seals on the injectors are good too, as I replaced those recently as well. well i bought a 255lph pump not too long ago to put in, just waiting for good weather, maybe i'll stick that in and see what happens.

Noticed you replaced the injector seals recently. Might double check and make sure those injectors are seated properly. When I upgraded to 24lb injectors I made that mistake and it hissed.
