Okay so as previously stated I am fairly new to this site and mustangs overall. I got a 2001 GT it has 94k miles on it and it had a decent ammount of mods. My problem is now it's have some sort of fuel problem. I don't know what's going on but sometimes the car doesn't wanna start. Other times ill get on it and it feels like it's just starving for fuel, she won't move anywhere. Also if i come to a stop right after this happens it will either ping and jump around at idle or just completely stall. I thought because of the idle problem and the fact that sometimes it wouldn't start I would clean the idle air control peice on the intake, but this didn't solve the problem. Also I figured she might need a new fuel filter since I heard they tend to get clogged easily on these cars, but that didn't fix it either. I'm not sure what exactly is done to the car so I'm not sure if one of the mods is messing with it like aftermarket fuel injectors. I can see the car has a CAI, upper plenum, exhaust, gears and a short throw shifter, but there could be more done I don't know about. Anyway if anyone has any tips please help me out because she won't even start and if she does it won't hold idle and the motor makes a horrible pinging noise like a really loud valve tap (which it has but gets worse when the fuel problem starts to occur) Thank you.
