Just got the car back from the body shop, feelin all kinds of good when I was driving down the road and the car just dies. Only holding about 20 psi of fuel pressure, so I think, no biggy just ran outta gas(no the gauge doesn't work). So I call a buddy, brings me some gas, and still nothing. Then I realize the pump isn't priming at all. Tow the hunk of $hi+ home, and start checking stuff. all seems ok, seem to be getting power to the prong on the back for the pump and sending unit, so I figure the wiring inside the tank came loose. Drop the tank, all is well. Pull the pump, 12V the sucker, spins right up. So, that being the case, could it be the fuel pump relay? I was getting about 4V to that prong in the back KOEO. If it was bad, would it still get power back there? My understanding is that it wouldn't. Any other guesses? Kinda getting pissed about the whole thing cuz I haven't had the car all summer, and now it's back, and broke down. So it's either get it fixed, or I'm finding a new hobby.
