Look above it and below it.....LOL its there. Stick you hand up beside the dash where the ECM would be and feel around.

what exactly does it look like? is it similar to the fuel pump relay? or do wires come out from both ends of the relay?

Looks just like the fuel pump relay. Going by your other thread, you may not have one installed.

Assuming you have a 91 harness.

Red wire
black wire
Red w/ green stripe wire
yellow wire.

Did you test the terminals at the relay socket to ensure that you had all the proper values?

disregard my post, i didnt catch that you don't have power at the inertia switch. Let me think on this a bit before I make another wack suggestion.

re somewhat the same problem

I have looked over this post and my problem is somewhat close, my fuel pump is not coming on at all, i ram a jumper wire at the relay under the seat and it did come on, I found the fuselink on the blue wire under the hood was blown, I replaced the fuselink with an inline 25 amp fuse, each time I turn the switch over it blows the 25 amp fuse leading me to believe that the blue wire (which turns into a yellow wire and runs to the EEC computer at the passenger side kick panel has a short or ground, when i test the block 22 port i come up with no power. Any ideas or suggestions???????

Vetteguy, I don't have a diagram handy for a 91 but:

I might disconnect the Fp relay and see if you blow the fuse. If you do, the issue is elsewhere in the circuit as you noted. If not, but it blows when you reinstall the FP relay and cycle the key, the short is likely downstream of the normally-open FP-relay terminal (between the relay and the pump).

re

When I pull the test port and try to check power to block 22 which i assume is to the computer it is reading nothing, also the blue 20ga wire coming off of the solenoid that turns to yellow runs to the computer ecc power relay I assume this is all tied in together? could this be the wire that is causing all my problems? I thought about just pulling a new wire to the computer or power relay at the computer and seeing if that might solve the issue. Do I seem to be on the right track or way off?

22 will read continuity to ground when the FP is on (the EEC grounds that wire or you can ground it manually at the self-test connector in order to make the pump energize).

check the fuselinks with a meter. They can blow and look fine on the outside. Check for power on both sides of the link. I had one that looked fine but the wire broke on the outside of the link. Mine was the power wire to the computer so nonthing had power.
