Whats a cap car?

Wow, imagine that. A future Lincoln Town Car based on a Mustang chasis
Quote:"Neither platform has the volume (2006 sales totaled 160,000 Mustangs and 50,000 Falcons and variants) to justify an all-new replacement each. So Mulally has asked for a plan to bring Ford's rear-drive cars together onto a single, global vehicle architecture. That means Mustang and Falcon. And it also means potential replacements for the Lincoln Town Car, Mercury Grand Marquis, and Ford Crown Victoria. Which is where Interceptor comes in."

Last time I heard anything about the Interceptor, it was deemed as a "rolling example" of what could be done with the Global platform that is underpinning the new Falcon in Australia. It has been all but killed as a real future product At least that is what I have heard.

Oh my .... That is all jacked up. Starting off with the down syndrome looking front, then to the rear end on stilts, and finishing up with a steering wheel that looks like a lunch tray-seat belt harness hybrid.

That's Turrible *Charles Barkley voice*
