I recently used a friends Gtech and ran a 14.25 at 98 mph in 1/4. I was impressed even though thats not that fast. Im adding 4:30s soon and a few more bolt ons to get a 1/4 of about 13.5 or so. Alot of people dog the autos but i happen to like it, at least for comfort and drag racing.

Those things are a blast. When I did a run with it in my car I got a 13.55 at 105 what were your 60ft and 1/8 times? Did you also see what your HP was?

My reading was 221 rwhp and 270 rwtq. That's with a 2/12 x-pipe(minus 2 rear cats), spintch (prostreet muffs), kn filter with cut down silencer, Granatelli coilovers(1 1/2 in drop) welded sub frames and 275 40zr 17 kumho 712 tires.

On street tires it seem to vary a lot depending how good you can launch it. once i got 13.3 normally i run like a 13.7 or 8. i've got my 0-60 down to 5.1 a couple times and i was very happy with that concidering my mods

if you get 4.30's and boltons you should be down in the 12's somewhere

Have any of you guys actually ran at a real quarter mile race track? Your cars probably wont run what you ran on the G-tech.I've heard that they are way off.Just my opinion.

I'm sure they are not 100% accurate but they are a lot of fun on a old country road and they really help you with launching

My best 0-60 was 5.05 and i believe my best HP was 255. I dont remember my torque. My average runs ranged from 13.66-13.83 at 103 to 104. My best 60ft so far though has been 2.17 damn street tires. My friend in his lightning brought his to the track and he ran it against the track clock. The times were almost dead on.

I dont know about way off, but maybe a .10th or .2 either way from what ive heard form people who used it and compared it to the track times at a "real" track. its better than nothing and its a good tool to use when making up grades to a car.
