Im having a problem "cutting" my passengers side tire on the tread. Ive noticed for awhile that the car naturally leans to the right hand side, even before i lowered it last year. I cannot figure out what's wrong with the car, but like I said, the factory suspension was leaning to the pass rear tire. Any ideas what happened? Bent control arm? I cannot see anything with a flashlight either. (no fat chick jokes)

The right rear will sit lower naturally because that is the way the car twists when taking off, and launching. I have never had a Mustang with an equal ride height in the rear.

It is common for the tire to get cut when you have those big 18X10's. They stick out way closer to the edge. So bigger tires and wheels, lowered suspension, and launching hard is gonna cut the tire. Just be happy that it didn't crack the paint on the quarter because that happened to a guy in 5.0L Talk.

Mine leans a bit, and if you look closely, the axle probably isn't centered on your car either. My car has the passenger tire sticking out farther than the driver's tire. I've noticed that on a lot of Mustangs as well, and my old BFGoodrich Drag Radials would always get shredded up on the top edge of the sidewall by the fender, the passenger one getting it the worst. Now that I am on cheap Sumitomos that don't roll as far off the rim as the BFG's did, I don't have that problem anymore. One way to remedy it would be to get your fenders rolled. Most auto body shops can do it, and there's even a tool that you can buy to do it, but you have to be careful in doing it so you don't crack the paint.

Same here! Right rear sits lower and has been known to cut the rear tire when pulling out of steep inclined parking lots.

For me it was backing over bumps. You hear that sound in the back and yell out the F word, and see rubber hanging off the tire. Ill see if i can get the fenders rolled then. I know someone who has an auto body shop
