Gap between tracks with Shaker B unit

I just got my GT stang a few weeks ago with a B unit shaker 1000. When I play CD's there's a gap between my CD tracks which interupts the flow on some of my CD's. On my old Mach deck the track changes were seamless and there were no gaps. Is this a flaw or is there a setting that I can change to fix this?

the only known fixes are to buy an aftermarket stereo, or don't listen to CD's.

This has been brought up many times... seems to be working as designed on the shaker 500/1000 head units.

Yep, my Shaker 500 does the same thing. It's obnoxious on live-recording CD's, or anything where the tracks are supposed to flow togehter (Pink Floyd, Disturbed, etc.) but I just deal with it.
