I have a full tank of gas in my stang that has been sitting since about Oct. of last year while I have been tackling the project of rewiring my car. Is the gas still good? Can I add anything to it if it has gone bad?

You will probably get some pinging. Try adding a bottle of octane booster, and the car will run fine.

If you bought that gas back in October you should bottle it and put it on eBay! You'll make a heck of a profit! About 57 cents a gallon.

octane boost then drive it to the gas station and fill the rest of the tank with premium.

i once acidently put regular fuel in my diesel benz. i got all the gas out of the car but had no where to put it. so bout 17 gallons of gas. 15 regular and 2 diesel. i had no choice but to put it in my stang. i let it sit idle for bout 2 hours burning off excess gas and made room. when bout 103 race fuel. and filled it up. octance boosted it and it was fine. so i think ud be pretty good since i put 2 galons of diesel fuel in my tank.

You could simply add some Sta Bil fuel stabilizer. Should mix it right up. Do top it off with good fresh fuel, and you'll be golden.

Sta Bil can always be found at lawn mower shops and motorcycle shops, probably some auto parts stores too.

PS - how did it possibly take 6 months to rewire your car? Too much of this? or this?
