Been hearing this all day, and I did fill up too, but can anyone comfirm these prices and rumors we have been hearing. Radio is saying it is all a hoax.

Has anyone actually seen a store selling gas for 1.70+ I have heard that a friend of a friend of a cousin of a friend has, but no one first hand so far.

Starting to think maybe the radio is right.

But I did need gas, I just got it a few hours ealry at lunch instead of after lunch.

www.ontariogasprices.com

hell even www.texasgasprices.com
still shows decent prices all around no huge jumps reported.

I don't believe it... I did put some gas in at noon because the tank was empty. I didn't fill it though, only 3/4. Right now there are line ups at EVERY gas station in town from what I can see. I mean there must be a good hour wait. The roads are conjested and people drive like maniacs due to road rage.

So even if the prices jump by 50 cents, they are willing to wait for an hour at a gas station, most of which are in very bad spots on the road almost getting into accidents to save something like 20 or 30 bucks for ONE tank.

I'd rather work an extra hour or two tonight and make from 20 to 40 bucks and fill up my car when it needs it without all the hassle.

There was a Petro yesterday here @ 1.75/L. Fawkin Petro is always the first one to jack the prices. All the other gas stations stayed @1.09/L
