Hi guys, I am getting 4:10's pretty soon. I am getting the gears from mustang tunning (FRPP). Also, I want to change the bearings on my car. But I don't know which ones should I go for? I have heard of Timken and Motive bearings. Are there any other better ones?

I didn't change the bearings on mine when I got my 4.10. I really would only do that if your current rear has alot of miles on it. My car only had about 25,000 miles on mine so I didn't change them. Unless you just want to, I think either one of them would be fine. I'm sure FRPP has some as well.

I bought 4.10s from MT as well. I only have 18K on my car right now and probably 25 when the gears will be put in in January. I bought the complete rebuild kit just to be safe. Probably didnt need to but its cheap piece of mind.

Timken is the best bearings IMO. We use them all the time in aerospace applications. If they're good in the air, they're good on the ground.
