well it's really not that bad...cuz I still have the cobra..and the main reason for getting the other car is because I wanna keep miles off it and keep it nice and covered up and what not.

the car I got wassssss......

a 1997 camaro RS (3.8L v6)

nothing special...just something to knock around in.

now...time for that 16psi on the stang

Camaro?

V6?

Only way you can redeem yourself and save your manhood is to do an LS9 swap. And yes, that is the new Corvette ZR-1 engine.

Any which way, the 3.8 is a reliable old slug. Glad you kept the stang.

haha, yeah. I wanted slightly better gas mileage than the stang. And it's not a matter of "if" but "when" something goes wrong with FI (I'm sure there are ppl willing to disagree). I just wanna have my bases covered and get slightly better gas mileage.

That said...I'm also only 19..so getthing that LS9 is gonna be a tadddd hard, hahaha. Hell, with the money I dumped on this car and what I'm about to dump on the cobra....I wouldn't be able to afford an lt1 swap, lol.

It's pretty peppy for what it is though

just keep that "pep" to a minimum or else your gas mileage will suffer and its pointless

Its ok man, my first car was an '85 Z28. Other than the T-tops, I received little enjoyment cause it nickel and dimed me to death. After it was my first GT, and Ive been hooked since. Everyone makes mistakes when their young...

hahaha,

My first car was a 1993 f-150 with the straight six...I'd take it over any other sixxer out there.

Second car is the cobra.

I kinda had to settle on this on though....cuz it's hard for a 19 year old to get financed and the place that was able to finance me had a lot of expensive cars...and like 2 in my price range. One was a beetle and the other was the camaro.

I needed a DD kinda bad sooooo, I got it.

got any pics of the camaro? it's pretty sweet not having to drive the stang every day, isnt it? It was killing my wallet in gas and killing me to have to drive it on salty roads after i spent all spring and summer getting it prepped and painted.

yeah, I'll get pics of both the cars up by the weekend. It's an RS...but for some reason the ground effects aren't on it..so I guess I gotta go to a junkyard and try to find one. I didn't know much about camaros at the time and then someone said it was missing those and I was like, "wow, it is..ok" haha

It's actually a pretty nice riding little car...and the coolest thing is...

I don't have to turn my lights on, haha.

If I get another vehicle it would have to be a 4 cyl, 4X4 pickup... The mustang doesnt get around well in the iowa winter, especially after the damn 13 inches of snow we got a day and a half ago... If you dont have much snow, then a camaro isnt a bad beater. Congrats on the purchase.

How is that passenger side hump? I rented one of those and that hump drove me nuts.

By the way, You'd be surprised of the the 'Stangers DDs. Mine is either the EB Expy (gas guzzler but short commute to subway - ony 6 miles) or Ford Ranger (4x4)

I'm not the only one who felt that way, huh. When stretched out, I felt like my feet were above my butt, and otherwise (when my back couldnt take it anymore and I bent my knees) my knees were as high as my chin.
