gonna use a plenum spacer, have a ?

i plan on gettin a spacer for my cobra intake, would i still use the original bolts, or would i have to get longer ones?

im thinking u need long bolts. i had to get long bolts on my stock intake. just brake it lose and see how much it comes up

i just tried it, def need longer bolts, whatever size spacer i have should i just add that length onto the bolt and thats what size bolts i should use? it sounds good to me but im not all that sure ha

That's all there is really.


Oddly enough, i am using a 3/8" spacer and still using the original bolts though

alright thanks, also i wanted to know what all does a spacer do? i understand keepin the heat down on the intake and able to use taller valve covers, but is that it?

It increases the runner length, so it should promote low end torque a little. It's probably a small enough amount that you wouldn't notice it though.

alright well its somethin i found in this shop and it looks good liftin up that cobra intake up a little
