I'm using a Mobil 1 oil filter and I have to tell you, it beats the motorcraft at filtration anyday. Just my .02 cents.

Get a Motorcraft if possible. I know Walmart carries them. Stay away from Fram.

I use fram on the pickup, no biggie and it's fairly cheap. Are there any other filters with the textured end that are better than the fram?

The grippy end on the Fram is cool, too bad it's on a crap filter!

I get my Motorcraft at all the Walmaerts here in Auburn, seattle area.

Fram is a waste, go to the gym if you need hand strength...........

I'd prefer another couple joints in my arm, would make changing the filter without taking off the "skid plate" thing a whole lot easier.
