haha, thanks S&B! I have no idea when the car was painted last, but just to put it into perspective... the car was rained on 2 days in a row and then sat under a carport for an additional day, and then wasn't washed for these pics

Is the car as nice as it looks? Cause it looks tits!

I mean how are the floors and trunk? Hows the metal behind the wheels? Is it sheet metal still or bondo'd?

Thanks Bill!! The car is 100% metal, i walked around it with a magnet wrapped in felt before i traded, the trunk is 100% and the floors are 100%, the fenders, bottoms of the doors and wheel wells are 100% steel, it's almost too clean... let me dig up a pic of the trunk...

edit: here ya go

That car is unreal... Some 17X8 & 17X11 polished torque thrust II's & a bit more of a drop would make it look perfect IMO....

Thanks Dustin!! That's the plan for the wheels actually, I love those torque thrust IIs. I'm going to run these wheels and tires for a while because they were both in a box about two weeks ago... way too new to take them off just yet, but I'll keep pics and updates coming so long as it's okay with everyone on here.

We had a 69 Chevelle Malibu growing up that was an award winning car. It was so drop dead gorgeous people were always asking to buy it for upwards of 15k and this was about 13 years ago. When I turned 16 I begged my dad to let me buy it from him but he was afraid of me taking it to school and the normal teenage abuse. Right after I turned 16 my old man traded it for a limited edition Corvette. That owner sold it to a 16 YO that wrapped it around a pole the second night he owned it..... Im still bitter.

Sweet ride but I cant get past the maroon!!!! Are you keeping it that color?

Maroon? The color is called black cherry. It looks black at night but in the daylight it's a very deep shade of purple. My coupe was more maroon. And yes, the color is staying because it's pretty gorgeous in person.

Sweet. Im sure you wont regret it at all. There are plenty of Fox's out there for the taking still despite popular belief as opposed to the Chevelles. Its hard to find one in as good of shape as yours. Congrats!

Thanks dude! I know I'll be able to snag a clean coupe again the next time around. However, next time I think I'll be leaning more towards a street animal type of turbo car. You know, the kind of car you spend your kids' college fund on.

Your car is a beast and I'd take it in a heartbeat, but I do believe you have a belt-driven turbo.
