Bought it last week and went to picked it up in Atlanta. Drove it back ~1200mi and including stop and go traffic in Atlanta, D.C. NJ and NY it got an awesome 26.5mpg average with all that power!

The motor is an LS2 block fully built 408 stroker with all the goodies and a custom ground cam with @.50 244 248, lift 615 615 with 114 lobe separation and 11.6:1 cr. and a NASTY Idle Fully built tranny with a brace as well. Spec Stg 3 took a few tries to get used to, on/off kind of clutch unfortunately. But should hold the nitrous when I get around to put it in. Motor can handle a 250 shot but I dont think I can!

It's about time Paul! Is the tranny a G-force unit now? Just curious. Once you ad the spray, don't do a Robert Judd (put it in the ditch). Enjoy!

Out of all the chevys, i love vettes. They're damn good looking. They're also so low from the factory the remind me of a snake slithering when they turn. Nice car, and what a piece of technology you got under your hood

No the tranny is a RPM Rodney built Stage V. As far as the ditch yeah this thing hardly hooks with 315 BFG DR's now imagine with a 250 shot of sauce I've had an "ebay special" N2O kit at home for a while but dunno if I wanna put it in already. Might sell it before temptation hits. lol

Are you reeeaalllyyy sure that you need to be fogging the tires at 100 mph?
(the result you'll get with 700 whp)

Just a thought...

Congrads. Been a long time in the making for that sucker. Although adding N20 to that car just dont seem right. Daily driver? Lotta power, and looks sharp

What's wrong with adding nitrous to a stoked LS engine? Given the compression ratio, even on a stock LS1/LS6/LS2 engine, they are perfect candidates for nitrous. Relatively high compression for a street engine, awesome gas mileage(providing you stay out of the gas pedal), strong factory engine components(let alone aftermarket). Paul found the perfect vette- one that has had an engine built with all the right components, that can handle a good shot of juice, but hasn't had it installed yet. Good find Paul!

Thanks guys. Cory, no its not a DD, there's 2 more cars for that. Ed, as for the M/T DR's if I'm going to spend the $$$ on it I'll just get the CCW drag pack with E/T streets that everybody uses

There's nothing wrong with an ebay kit, its the intalation and tune that can f'k it up. But it sure is one fugly looking kit N.O.S. though.

As for what Bart said, yeah this engine with 11.6 compression is just sreaming for spray. I just have to get the fuel source for it some where else besides the fuel rail. They're still the stock ones and they wont flow enough to feed 520rwhp + 150 N2O.
