ok you dont pick up that much from a tuner, 03/04 cobras dont even pick up that much. There were most likely other factors....weather and driving are two that come to mind, along with a couple of tenths for the tuner

I'm not trying to crach anyone's party, cause i like to save money too, but check this out about Predators bought on Ebay.

http://www.diablosport.com/consumeralert.php

Just make sure you know who you are getting it from. Just something I came across that may be important to some of you considering buying it from Ebay.

But it is a used one from a Mustang owner.
I'm sure it's fine.

haha yeah, well that was because I needed to buy the SCT Xcal2 as well, plus like $100/hr for dyno tuning. Still, its a lot of money to put up front for the basic mods I have done. BTW, one of the shops told me that you can't use the handheld tuners on more than one car? He said something about it logging the VIN number so it only works on one vehicle, he may have also been high on crack too

I dont understand the point of getting a dynotune with only minimal mods But as long as your happy
I'll get a dyno tune one of these days, but only after heads and cams

he is partially right about the hand held tuner beibng mated to the car once you upload the tune you cant use it to tune any other car but yours, but when the tune is uninstalled then you can put it on another car similar. Like mine as soon as i take the tune out i can put it on any 99-04 GT and up load the predator tune on it

just from the hand held an automatic can benefit more from them than a 5 speed just to the fact that you can firm up the shifts from your trans but i agree about the dyno tune with only a few mods

No he's right from what I've seen. My friend's Hypertech even says during the programming process " this programmer is for vin#blah, blah, blah" or something to that effect.
