Got my springs in but....UPDATE *PICS* Need help

Hey Guys,

I got my new struts and springs in in the front of my stang. However, I did notice as I was about to put the rims back on that both springs shifted. I was told to make sure the pigtail of the front spring lays between the 2 holes in the spring perch. Both springs are covering both wholes...

Is this bad? They look fully seated.... lol im just trying to avoid pulling the front end apart again.

Thanks,

They may have corrected themselves. Have you dropped the car down yet?

Hey Guys,

These are BBK Progressive rate, without the top isolators in the front (a lot of Energy Suspension grease though ...I have not got the back in yet.

I got the springs and shocks in, there seated correctly. As you can see the car is sitting pretty low and drives real good. I am rubbing a bit on the Driver side though.

2 QUestions:

1. Can i roll the fender a bit with a dead blow hammer? As you can see in the driver side pic, the rub line.

2. I am going to get the car aligned, and I also noticed the passenger side has probably upwards of 1 degree to 1.5 degrees more negative camber, and I think this is the reason for the driver side rubbing a bit. If i get a sport alignment that should also help the rubbing correct?

Looks nice...how high was it sitting before you dropped it? Like i said my car sits HIGH......How much are those springs suppossed to drop the car..and by taking the insulators out how much more does that add to the drop? Any before pictures and do you have any of the rear lowered thats were mine seems to be very high...the front seems to sit ok but there rear looks like its jacked up!!!!

HEy My 85,

I havent done the rear yet, ill be hitting that tonight or tommorow Ill post pics up though. Before I was running stock. I was told the BBK kit starts at 1 1/4" drop and the isolators add about another 1/4 to 1/2" drop.

Thanks

Mike
