Got the GTS weighed today... Wow

About 2 years ago when it was still fairly stock, she weighed in at 3260#. This morning she came in at 3007#. That was with 1/8 fuel indicated.

Car w/o driver
LF = 891
RF = 867
LR = 612
RR = 637
Total = 3007
F/R% = 58.46 / 41.54
L/R% = 49.98 / 50.02

Car w/ driver and race gear
LF = 959
RF = 877
LR = 663
RR = 668
Total = 3167
F/R% = 57.97 / 42.03
L/R% = 51.22 / 48.78

nice!
would like to see how my GTS weights tho, i dont guess it's that much lower then normal GTs.

I still wish I knew why our cars are so different considering the greater amount of weight reduction I've done. If I recall, the only thing you've gotten rid of that I've kept is the rear seat back. And you've got amps and subs to boot.

no i have no amps or subs

AND i do alot of little things that people laugh at but they really really add up. I am talking 1 pound 2 pound things you dont need at all. and you dont even know they are gone. hell i dont even remember what i took out except for the fact i have about a 50 pound box in my closet full of junk

At SAR? Did you weigh the car with you in the seat?

I still havent weighed mine yet, just havent gotten around to it

Wow...you're making me think that my '87 LX is a fatty. It weighed 3220 w/o me in it (tack on another 255lbs when I get my gorilla @ss into it. ) the other day. But it's also fully loaded with a big macho stereo in it. Either way this puts to rest the argument about all SN-95's being tanks though, doesn't it.
