Can't blame anyone but myself for being ignorant of the fact that I wouldn't be able to order a 2012 mustang in March of 2012!!!!!????? But c'mon, March!?!?!?!? The year is not a full 3 months old and I can't order that model year?

Anyone see a '12 Race Red GT with cloth interior (300A) AND 3.73's, preferably in Northeast, I'd appreciate a shout. A couple in my area with xtras I don't want (premiums which is +4K) but might have to bite the bullet. Eew, leather

Leather is superior to cloth.

^ +1. The leather seats are much nicer than the cloth and they are easier to keep clean, but its you butt going into them not mine.Just out of curiosity why not get a '13? That way you can order it exactly how you want it.

I'm assuming he does not like the '13 changes.

"I'm assuming he does not like the '13 changes. " You got it. I have an idea, lets make all ford cars (fusion,mustang,focus...) look the same (like the '13 v6, gt,boss, shelby) but put different stripes and plastic vents in 'em, maybe a foglight here and there! Wouldn't THAT be awesome? Yeah, just a little sarcasm. I've got dry eyes from searching the northeast dealers and a bit p.o.'d that I can't find one. Even the dealer said how frustrating it is to have someone that can buy a vehicle, wants to buy but they can't get the one I want. Hmm, sounding a little like a spoiled little bch huh? Alright, onto the next thread.

Just wait till everyone that bought 12s decides to upgrade to a 13 when they start selling more.

Then you'll have your pick.

so in summary:
you're mad that the new mustangs are going to look awesome-er and wish ford would make them not look so much like one another...

maybe they took a hint from the camaro when they realized looks really play a lot in what sports car folks buy?

stop cryin' bro.

Ha ha makoto. No, in summary, I'm mad I can't get what I want...which is a 2012 which in my opinion look better than the
'13's. Yes, I don't think they should look so much like one another...they all look like shelby's and imo, that's a bit disrespectful to Carroll Shelby. My 2 cents, you can keep the change.
Yeah, the cryin was a bit much

sooo im just gonna through this out there. but im willing to bet that because the cosmetic differences are so minor and there were no major changes to the body style you can probably swap parts from the 11 and 12 to the 13 and vice versa.

in other words im willing to bet that theirs someone out there with a 12 or 11 gt that likes the look of the 13's better and might be willing to trade. just a thought. or your can always buy some 10-12 styled stuff....if it really bugs you that bad.

Good idea modru2004...and I already thought about it. Would have gone that way but I don't think the taillights will swap out too...like the '12's front and rear over the '13's. Plus, it's not just the bumper, the grill/hood would have to be swapped too from what I can tell.

LarsDd, you really know how to hurt a guy That's a sweet race red stang and the fox is pretty sweet too!
