ok test drove a grabber orange 2007 today and i have to have it!!!
what do i need to get it to 12.5s i want to chip it 4.10s, probly change the clutch, full exhaust ex. long tubes and side exhaust. how fast will she go?

12.8-12.9's with those mods.

I'd say full exhaust as in, Long Tubes, Off-Road mid pipe (x will give more power), mufflers if you so choose. Then you would need the CMCV delete plates, a Cold Air Intake/tuner, UDPs, 4.10's and you might hit 12.5s.

Nitrous or a Supercharger will get you into the 12.5 range real quick though.

Sorry have to ask which is :OT: but what is CMCV delete plates mean? Is this something you could do yourself or something you have to buy? Sorry for all the
n00b ?s.

It's a mod you buy from Steeda. You can get the billet ones from them which are 300 bucks and pre-drilled for nitrous taps and have a little bit larger opening. Or you can buy their "economy" ones which are about 150 and will be fine for pretty much everybody.

What they do is take out these "tumblers" in the intake runners. The tumblers act to make turbulence in the air so that it creates more torque and horsepower in lower rpm ranges. The deletes are good for about 10hp/tq if I recall correctly and most people do not notice any loss down low.

I guess it would if you want to go the drag strip and get every ounce of power out of your car. From what I hear these are most benificial in the upper RPM range.

3. 28x10 SLICKS - NOT "drag radials". compromise is a dirty word
4. underdrive pullies
5. cmcv delete plates
6. lower control arms
7. long tube headers/ off road H or X pipe
8. BMR front swaybar/radiator support delete

i saw someone post that FRPP had a license for one year. once that year was up, no more FRPP plates. thats when you started to see the steeda economy plates show up, and all the places that used to sell the FRPP plates changed to the billet steeda units.

so, seeing all those changes, the FRPP license makes sense to me.

The sticker package is what really pushed deep into the 12's...
