I am not yet a Mustang owner, but I've got my eyes on a 2007 GT vert w/31k. My wife will let me buy it if I have the ready cash - no financing allowed. I'm looking to find out about available bolt-on mods to boost the stock 300hp on the 4.6L. Hope I can find a thread for that subject, but any tips would be appreciated.

Welcome! I'm not as familiar with the 3V engines but the typical first mods are gears, tune, tires. You can also go straight to the big guns and get a supercharger if you want an instant jump.

3-Valve = Boost
Boost = Fuel upgrades

Start low and work your way up while doing the supporting mods. Only thing I would spend money before boost on a 3 valve would be general maintenance. Make sure everything is up to the task.

Buy the blower just one time though. Get a good one the first time out.
